and by the word of their testimony...”

12/6/11

Thank you, Lord ! This past week, Winnie, Bobby, and Bill received Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and I believe are now with Him in Glory Land !

8/20/11

As an on-call chaplain at the hospital, I was called in this afternoon, for "P" who is very confused why he is in the hospital, admitting he's had some memory problems. But, He knows who Jesus is, and invites Jesus into his heart, and surrenders his life to the Master!  We prayed the Lord will restore him.

6/11/11

(Following a J.O.Y. Fellowship Quarterly Meeting) What a awesome time this afternoon!!  Thank you all so much!  By the way, as some were starting to leave, I got a call from the hospital that I was needed (I was on-call this weekend), for an “end-of-life issue”.  When I got there, “B” was conscious but struggling.  When I asked if she “knew the Lord”, she nodded yes.  I then proceeded to have her invite Jesus into her heart, which she did. So, after our wonderful meal together, I had the “perfect desert”!!  Thank you Jesus!!

5/17/11

What a wonderful time we had this past Sunday at Bahia Oaks Lodge where we have now begun serving  We had about 18 residents come to join us, and our time together was just great.  What was really special for me, was as we finished, and I was going around thanking folks for coming, one lady said “I have been praying for us to have church here for 2 years, since I cannot go to my church anymore.  This is an answer to prayer!!”

5/1/11

As an on-call chaplain at the hospital, I was called in this afternoon, for "K" who had been removed from "Life Support".  I believe if a person is still breathing, a person can still hear and make decisions. After explaining to "K" why I was there, I led him in the "sinner's prayer".  I believe "K" heard me, and renewed himself with the Lord.  He has since gone on to be with Jesus.

Before I left, another call, now for "W", also just off life support. Before I prayed for him, his wife C told me she was very upset with the Lord!  I asked her how she stood with the Lord, and she said she had fallen away.  She then repented and re-invited the Lord into her heart.  I also asked 'W' to pray the prayer with me, and I believe he did also.

Thank you, Lord !!

1/15/11

A friend of our whose husband suffers Alzheimer's asked us to come and pray over her husband.  We had a brief service in her house and celebrated the Lord's Supper with them.  She placed the juice-soaked bread  in his mouth.  I then anointed him, repeated the prayer of salvation to him to repeat in his mind,  and pronounced blessings over him.  This man who had been just laying there, not moving, not even opening his eyes, began to sing a little song!

I believe his spirit came alive in Jesus name !! I believe he heard and prayed the prayer of salvation, and is now a child of God!!

12/19/10

Hi Pastor Bill & Carolyn,
I didn't get a chance to tell you, but I have very strong reason to believe that a Catholic woman from the Alzheimer's group also gave her heart to the Lord that day!!   She usually sits in the middle of the wall all the way to the right as you enter the room.  Last Sunday, she sat all the way to the left up by the TV and close to me.   When it was time to pray, I had a little bit of a hard time hearing her because Leopold was praying loudly nearby, but she definitely looked differently in her face...she had a peace and was smiling when I approached her to pray. She took my hand and looked right into my eyes and said "it is hard, but I am trying"  and she repeated that again.  I said "I know it is but I will be praying for you." and then proceeded to pray for her.   When I first started there I would ask her if I could pray for her, and she would say "no, I am Catholic and I have my own way and I already prayed."  So for the first few times I would ask again and then I left her alone. Then one day she finally allowed me to pray the way that I do and then thanked me. I was careful to end my prayers with her in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  I truly believe she did pray the prayer of salvation with us and she does want what we have!!!!   Praise the Lord!!  Love you two and can't wait for our next time at the Pines!

Blessings and love,
Donna

As I walked out of one of our local hospitals today, I saw a young woman sitting on the front steps.  My spirit sensed she was deeply hurting.  I introduced myself, and asked if I could help.  She told me her mom, 59 years old was dying, and her kidney was now failing.  After praying with her, we went to her mom's room, prayed with her, and led mom to recommit her life to Jesus!

As I walked into his hospital room in answer to his call, "E" said to me "I've got a lot of stuff I need to get off my chest, I've made a lot of poor choices and bad decisions".  I asked him if he'd like to Lord to wipe clean his slate, and start fresh.  "Yes", he said, "how do  I do that". "E" is the newest member now of God's family!  Thank you, Lord!!

5/13/07

"Mary" has been admitted to the Emergency room, due to her explosive reaction to the news that her father has been in a serious car accident and is not expected to live. As I begin to talk to her, the first thing she tells me is "there's been a riff for years", and "I hate him".  The father had been abusive to her and her mother. We pray and I lead her to invite Jesus and His peace in to her heart.  Then I ask her to ask Jesus to help her forgive her father.  She says she now has!  I ask her if she'd like me to go to ICU and pray with her father, and would she go with me.  Once there, thought unconscious, I ask him to hear me, repeat my words in his mind and ask Jesus into his heart.  The I ask "Mary" to tell him she loves him, and forgives him!  And she does.  Shortly, the family asks that the life support equipment be removed, and he goes on to Jesus, loved, forgiven, and family restored!!!  Thank You, LORD !!!

At the memorial for her former father-in-law, who always spoke about his relationship with Jesus, "Tina" is touched in her heart by the Lord.  As I conclude the service for my friend, and ask if anyone would like to dedicate their life to Christ this day, "Tina" comes forward and receives Jesus into her heart !!  Thank you, Lord !!!

Richard has had an alcohol problem, and needs help.  At a memorial service for an acquaintance, he hears about Jesus, and salvation.  After the end of the service, he sought me out and asked for help.  He knew that Jesus is Lord, and had died for him, so we prayed together for the Lord to come into his heart, and help him.  Bless him, Lord
