Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble          James 1:27

J.O.Y. Fellowship Church

stands for Jesus Only You !!
J.O.Y. Fellowship Church  began by identifying the spiritual needs of seniors living in Assisted Living, Rehab, and Memory Care Facilities in Manatee and Sarasota counties in Florida. Many churches have special programs for meeting the spiritual needs of the youth, young married, widowed and divorced, but few address the spirtitual needs of seniors, especially those not able to come to the church building anymore. Therefore, we are called to bring "the church" to those who cannot come to "the building". We DO NOT promote any particular denomination, nor any church doctrine - we consider ourselves "Multi-Denominational" - all who seek our Lord are welcome !!

We have found many who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, and are not sure of their final destination, have never really read His word, and never had His promises explained to them.  Many "hope" they have done enough good things to warrant God to welcome them to heaven, but fear death.  This is a special concern at times of hospital illness.

Our Mission:   To lead people, especially seniors,  to Christ, and teach them His ways, and assure them of His love and   concern for them, to calm their fear of death and explain God's plan for the life after.

Our Vision:   To experience the church we read about in the Bible, to equip people to share and spread the love of Jesus, and bring others into His Kingdom.

Our Plan:  To minister the gospel to lost, hurting people, wherever the Lord brings us, and bring to salvation as many as possible, one by one by one. We are a “go to” church, bringing His Word and His love to hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Memory Care Facilities (ALZ), Rehab Facilities, mobile home parks, and wherever else He leads us.

Statement of Faith

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, The Incarnate Word, eternally the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
We believe in the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, and His visible and soon return in power and             glory to this earth.
We believe the Bible is the written infallible Word of God, and the ultimate authority for how we are to live and what             we are to believe.
We believe in the one body of Christ, made up of those who have been called out of darkness into the light,                            empowered by the Holy Spirit, who have placed their faith in Jesus for salvation, and live under His Lordship.

We currently have people working with us from several area churches.
